There’s a new bear on the block. To celebrate the opening of the new Toy Kingdom in Harrods, Oska-Poska Doolittle and friends have set up residence on the Third Floor. The adventures of Chloé the Fairy; the Tin Soldier; G
and J, the superfast cars; Jake the Robot; Laura the Little Gold Digger; and the book-loving bear all take place in a new corner of the store specially dedicated to the young at heart.

The new Toy Kingdom will open on 14th July on the Third Floor

A new generation of jewellery designers is adding a twist to the establishment: Jewellery Designer of the Year Tomasz Donocik combines leather and horsehair with precious stones and metals to create complex miniature works of art; Chinese inspiration meets French craftsmanship at Qeelin, where quirky precious pieces are pavéd with diamonds; and animal charms come courtesy of Italian jewellers Dodo; choose from bunnies, butterflies and, of course, dodos.

The Olsen twins’ ascent from tween idols
to a formidable fashion force has been seamless. Long admired by the industry
for their eclectic personal styles, in 2007 Mary-Kate and Ashley founded their label, The Row. The house’s aesthetic is defined
by refined tailoring, a sharp eye for detail, monochrome palettes and an almost austere simplicity. It’s a look that’s exemplified by
the AW12 collection, a masterclass in luxe minimalism. Note the elongated evening coat, waist-skimming jacket, blouson-sleeved top with mink detailing, and the bi-coloured mink coat.

Chiffon and mink top £3,150, and skirt £1,399. New to International Designer Room, First Floor

During July and August, Salvatore Ferragamo is offering a made-to-order service. Bags can be made in your choice
